01. PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Mentoring of Start-Ups, Students and Youth

Extending support to Start-Ups, Entrepreneurship Development Cells (EDCs), and Institution Innovation Councils (IICs) of colleges and universities is vital for nurturing entrepreneurial talent at the grassroots. Such support fosters innovation, skill development, and industry–academia collaboration, enabling young entrepreneurs to access mentorship, finance, and networks. It strengthens institutional ecosystems, promotes sustainable enterprise creation, and aligns with national priorities of job generation, MSME growth, and inclusive development.

RIIELG extends comprehensive mentorship support to Start-Ups by offering guidance in idea validation, project structuring, and financial planning under different schemes of Govt. of India and Govt. of West Bengal. Experienced faculty, industry experts, and resource persons provide continuous handholding, training, and institutional linkages. This structured approach ensures capacity building, market readiness, and sustainable enterprise growth for emerging entrepreneurs.
